Research Area(s):
Research Interests:

I am currently involved in research in the Impulsivity Neuroscience Laboratory.

My research is generally focused on the role impulsivity plays in substance use (e.g. alcohol and marijuana use) in various populations, including heavy social drinkers, student-athletes, LGB students, and adolescents.

My thesis focused on how negative urgency (a facet of impulsivity) relates to various components of drinking, including alcohol seeking, consumption, craving, and affect change and HPA axis reactivity to alcohol consumption.
