Research Interests:

My research focuses on the investigation of psychosocial interventions to facilitate the development of insight (e.g., metacognition) and promote recovery in schizophrenia spectrum disorders. Regarding the former, I am interested in understanding the mechanisms underlying the development of insight in people with schizophrenia and those at risk for the disorder. Further, I am interested in understanding the ways in which people with schizophrenia begin to form complex notions of themselves and others.

My current project has two specific aims: 1) investigating the presence of metacognitive deficits in at-risk populations, specifically that of trait schizotypy and 2) elucidating the relationship between metacognition and social functioning in this group.
